Northwest Hills Credit Union, headquartered in Torrington, Connecticut, is advertising several different type of savings account rates and money market account rates. Savings account rates include the credit union's Club Savings rates, Individual Retirement Account savings rates and Health Savings Account savings rates. 

Northwest Hills Credit Union's share savings account rates money market account rates are tiered and based on the deposit amount. The credit union doesn't have the best deposit rates in Connecticut but their rates are competitive with other banks and credit unions in CT.

The highest savings account rates at Northwest Hills Credit Union are on their best savings rate is on their Health Savings. The current HSA savings  rate is 2.00 percent with an HSA yield of 2.02 percent.  A 2.00 savings rate is one of the best savings rates available any where right now.

Northwest Hills Credit Union’s share savings account rates for account balances of $500 to $24,999 is 0.25 percent with a savings interest yield of 0.25 percent. Share savings account rates for account balances of $25,000 or more is 0.50 percent with a savings yield of 0.50 percent.

Club savings account rates and IRA savings account rates are being offered at 0.50 percent with a savings yield of 0.50 percent. The minimum balance to earn the savings rate and savings yield on a Club Savings is $500. IRA savings accounts have a minimum balance of only $5.00 to earn the rate and yield

Northwest Hills Credit Union’s money market account rates for balances of $1,000 to $49,999 is 0.25 percent with a yield of 0.25 percent.  Money market account rates for account balances of $50,000 are 0.50 percent with an yield of 0.50 percent.
