Credit Union 1 with locations in Indianapolis, Chicago, Las Vegas and other areas is advertising savings rates and money market rates. Credit Union 1's interest rates are not the best rates around but they are competitive with other banks and credit unions.

Credit Union 1 is advertising savings account rates, savings IRA rates, health savings account rates and money market account rates. The money market accounts have tiered interest rates and are higher than the savings account rates except for the HSA rate.

The credit union's regular share savings account rate is 0.25 percent with a savings account yield of 0.25 percent. The minimum opening deposit is $5.00 percent. IRA rates and yields are the same as the regular share account. There is no minimum opening deposit for an IRA savings.

Health savings account rates are at 0.75 percent with a health savings yield of 0.75 percent. That rate is one of the highest savings account rates available right now for an HSA. There is no minimum opening deposit for a HSA.

Money market account rates for account balances of $2,500 to $9,999 earn a rate and yield of 0.40 percent.

Money market accout rates for account balances of $10,000 to $24,999 earn a rate and yield of 0.45 percent.

Money market account rates for account balances of $25,000 to $49,999 earn a rate and yield of 0.50 percent.

Money market accout rates for account balances of $50,000 and higher earn a rate and yield of 0.55 percent.
