Current Mortgage Rates, November 15, 2011

Current mortgage rates are mostly higher today following a recent trend of higher rates. We don't expect mortgage rates to increase much for the rest of 2011 when you factor in low inflation, the trouble in Europe and the Fed's determination to keep mortgage rates low. Today's mortgage rates on 30 year mortgage loans are averaging 4.11%, an increase from yesterday's average 30 year mortgage rate of 4.95%.

Mortgage rates today on 15 year mortgage loans are also higher averaging 3.38%, an increase from Tuesday's average 15 year mortgage rate of 3.31%.

30 year jumbo mortgage rates are averaging 4.53%, an increase from Tuesday's average 30 year jumbo mortgage rate of 4.49%. 15 year jumbo mortgage rates are averaging 3.78%, an increase from Tuesday's average 15 year jumbo mortgage rate of 3.67%.

Adjustable mortgage rates are also higher today. Mortgage rates today on conforming 5 year adjustable home loans are averaging 2.74%, up from yesterday's average 5 year adjustable mortgage rate of 2.72%.

Today's mortgage interest rates on 5 year jumbo home loans are currently averaging 3.00%, up from Tuesday's average 5 year jumbo adjustable mortgage rate of 2.98%.
